Hot Rods are legendary vehicles of the 1930s to the 1950s. Born in southern California in the 1930s, hot rods were modified vehicle, mostly Ford cars, built for racing. The practice became popular all across the United States, spawning the Hot Rod magazine in 1948. Still popular in the U.S, Australia, the U.K and in Sweden, Hot Rods have regained popularity in recent years thanks to collectors of old vehicles.
